Four candidates are in the running for the position of Chief in this year’s Saugeen First Nation #29 election.
The current chief, Randall Kahgee Junior is on that list.
The other names include Gail Mason Stark, Vernon Root and Randy Roote.
Nine councillors will be elected on along with a Chief.
Forty-four people have been nominated to fill those spots.
Election day is June 24th.
Nominations closed Tuesday.
