Residents in Saugeen Shores may have to suffer with browner than desired lawns.
The municipality is asking all users of the the municipal water system to comply with watering restrictions.
They say recent warm temperatures combined with limited rainfall is to blame — as it’s placing a high demand on the town’s water system.
Furthermore, if demand for water continues to increase, a watering ban may be issued.
Those with odd municipal street numbers can water on odd days between the hours of 7 AM and 9 AM and again from 7 PM to 9 PM.
The rules are the same for even numbered houses on even days.
Anyone caught violating the restriction could be fined 100 dollars.
