The annual Ontario Miss Midwest and Little Princess Pageant was held Saturday night.
Close to 40 young ladies took the stage at the Walkerton Community Centre strutting their stuff vying for the titles.
Brockton Mayor Dave Inglis was on hand to open the event.
At the end of the night — reigning Queen Brittany Grual of Milverton handed her crown to Emily Burgess of Harriston.
The first runner up was Britt Gamble.
Out-going Little Princess Kaylee Hughes of Whitechurch gave hers to 12 year old Rachel Smith of Kenilworth Public School.
The first runner up was Sheridan Jones.
The two girls will represent the pageant at various events over the next year.
Also last night — the first annual Jordan Fawcett Memorial Award was handed out to Megan Hamilton of Dundalk.
Jordan was the 2007-2008 Ontario Little Miss Princess — she passed away in November of 2010.
