Bruce County paramedics have more help on their emergency calls.
Two more shift supervisors started work this month.
Director of Emergency Services Doug Smith says they now have four supervisors and one will be on shift 24/7.
Smith says the two new supervisors can also evaluate the work of their paramedics who are looking to improve.
He says their experience will help many of the paramedics who are fresh out of school.
Smith notes the addition also improves the ratio of paramedics to supervisor.
In Grey and Huron Counties — the ratio was 21 paramedics to one shift supervisor.
Before the staff addition this month — the Bruce County ratio was 47 paramedics to one shift supervisor.
