Kincardine is searching for a new Chief Administrative Officer.
John deRosenroll has announced that he is leaving the municipality next month to become the CAO of the town of Perth, in eastern Ontario.
deRosenroll has been working in Kincardine for almost 15 years and has been CAO since 1999.
His last day in Kincardine is August 19th and he will begin his new job the following week on August 22nd.
deRosenroll is a native of eastern Ontario.
He said in a news release issued by the town of the Perth that he’s looking forward to returning to his roots.
Kincardine Council has named clerk Donna MacDougall as the acting CAO.
