The mock disaster for the Medquest Camp in Walkerton turned into a very real experience for two firefighters.
Two members of the Walkerton fire department had to be treated for heat exhaustion on Wednesday.
They were responding to a simulated explosion at the Maple Court Villa retirement home.
The mock disaster was part of the Medquest camp — and involved high school students, Bruce County EMS, South Bruce OPP and the fire department.
