The OPP Criminal Investigation Branch and Unsolved Homicide Investigation Team will be back in Owen Sound today to look for more clues in the disappearance of Lisa Maas.
They will return to a residential property in Owen Sound to search for evidence linked to the 1988 disappearance of Lisa Maas.
They are heading back to the property on 3rd Avenue East to search for clues for a fourth time.
Other searches were conducted on October 13th, October 28th and November 16th in 2010.
It is part of an extensive ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Lisa Leona Maas who was last seen in the former Sydenham Township on July 17, 1988.
She was 22 and five months pregnant when last seen leaving the home of a male friend in Woodford.
Police have one suspect in mind, but they say without a body or other evidence of a killing — they can’t prove their suspicions.
Maas had separated from her husband and moved in with a boyfriend six months before she went missing, but police say neither man is considered a suspect.
OPP CIB Detective Inspector Ian Maule is still leading the investigation and says the province is still offering a reward of 50 thousand dollars for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the disappearance Maas.
