A 44 year old woman from Manitoulin Island faces charges after a fraud was reported at a nursing home in Little Current.
The OPP were notified after an internal audit discovered the Manitoulin Centennial Manor was allegedly defrauded of more than 80 thousand dollars.
It’s alleged that payroll funds were still being deposited into the accounts of people who were away on sick leave, maternity leave or no longer working at the long term care assisted living facility.
