Youth in the region now have a service to help them find a summer job.
The Owen Sound Service Canada Centre for Youth is now open.
The office for the past 40 years has helped assist businesses and young workers with summer employment.
Youth Services Worker Sarah Poste says they help youth with their resumes, provide interview advice and job search strategies and employers with a location to post job openings.
Poste says they also provide information on health and safety in the workplace.
Poste says they generally help youth between the age of 15 and 30 across the Grey Bruce region.
Poste says they officially opened up their office on Monday and have received 78 job postings so far.
Poste says they had over 200 job postings last summer which she says was a pretty successful year and is hoping for more postings this summer.
The Owen Sound Service Canada Centre for Youth is located at 1450 1st Avenue West and can be reached at 519 378 2424 or visit their job bank at www.jobbank.gc.ca.
