A CBC radio show-runner and scientist from Wingham is getting a promotion within the Order of Canada.
Bob McDonald has hosted ‘Quirks and Quarks’ on CBC Radio for almost 20 years.
He will become an Officer of the Order of Canada — along with Hayley Wickenheiser, who’s been called the world’s greatest female hockey player.
They’re among 50 others who will receive honours.
