Twolan says everyone who took part in Lucknow’s 150th anniversary celebrations in July deserve a pat on the back.
Meanwhile, it was back in June council cleared the way for work to be done on landscaping, the installation of a new playground equipment and a splash pad at Lewis Park in Ripley.
Twolan says combine that with streetscaping being done in Ripley, with news that a developer wants to invest over ten million dollars in the village through development, and it was a banner year.
Looking ahead to this year, Twolan says like all councils across Bruce County, his too will be taking the economic uncertainty into conseridation when it sits down to work on the new budget.
Twolan says this year, while there are many infrastructure projects could receive attention, those that need it more than could use it, will be given priority.
