The Winterhawks are first in the standings in WOAA Senior Men’s Hockey, but head coach Don Matheson says it’s a tight race.
The Winterhawks lead the league with 23 points, but the top five are all close behind within one point of each other.
Matheson says one slip and things can change drastically in the standings.
He says they can’t take tonight’s game lightly with Shallow Lake, even though it’s not one of the tougher teams in the league.
Game time is 8:30 at the Plex in Port Elgin.
The Winterhawks have six games left in the season, including this one.
