One building in town couldn’t stand up to the strong gusts though.
A storage building owned by Rowe Motors on Broadway Street lost its front wall.
Nobody was injured as the building is surrounded by a vacant lot.
The municipality has also stopped using vaccum trucks to reduce extra pressure placed on the sewage system.
Runoff from heavy rain on the weekend increased the burden on the sewer mains and treatment plant.
