The Saugeen Shores Winterhawks are on the road, playing in Lucknow tonight.
It’s a make-up game for one that was postponed in November because of a lack of ice in Lucknow.
Winterhawks head coach Don Matheson says he’s please his club comes off the Christmas break in first place in the north by one point.
However he’s quick to point out that the top five teams are all within one point of each other, so no one can afford a loss.
Matheson says they’re not going to play to the competition but play their own game and if they follow through they should win.
Besides the Winterhawks and the Lancers tonight, Palmerston takes on Shelburne and Walkerton hosts Ripley tonight.
The Winterhawks next home game is next Friday, January 2nd when the Shallow Lake Crushers are visiting.
Gametime at the Plex in Port Elgin is 8:30.
