The municipality of Kincardine has over 1.2 million dollars in capital projects that weren’t completed in 2008, and the money budgeted for them will likely be on the table during 2009 budget discussions.
Projects include five road construction projects, a new snow plow, and roof work at the airport house and Kincardine fire station.
The money will be transferred into reserve funds and then into the 2009 budget so the projects can be given priority.
The Golf Links Road construction project is already underway and significant progress has been made. New underground sewer mains and some paving have been done. The rest will be completed in the year ahead.
