A Christmas time favourite continues today in Owen Sound.
The 69th annual CFOS Sun Times Christmas Fund Broadcast will take place from 1 PM to 8 PM at the Roxy Theatre.
Hundreds of people will perform during the seven hour broadcast to raise money for local children and seniors groups.
One of the performer’s is David Sereda — who is the Music Director for the production Snow Wonder.
Sereda says he and the cast members are excited to perform — and they will sing Christmas Carols from the show.
The goal is to raise a record 30 thousand dollars.
The first 15 thousand would be split evenly between the Alzheimer Society, the City library children’s department and to help purchase a neonatal monitor for the Owen Sound hospital.
20 other children and seniors groups will benefit from the broadcast.
Admission to the Roxy for the Christmas Fund Broadcast is 25 cents with a non perishable food item.
Or you can listen to the full seven hour broadcast on 560 CFOS.
