Chiropractor Dr. Glenn Lang is holding a Toys for Tots event at “In Line Family Chiropractic” in Walkerton this Saturday.
“In Line Chiropractic” is teaming up with The Bruce Children are Special Foundation Christmas Hamper Program and Bruce County Social Services for the event.
Between 8 AM and 12 noon, the public is invited to come in and have a free chiropractic adjustment and examination in exchange for a new unwrapped toy.
Dr. Lang says donations are welcome whether the donor wishes to receive chiropractic services or not.
He adds there is no obligation to continue care after your visit to the office.
Last year’s event collected 304 toys and also 520 dollars in cash donations.
Dr. Lang says this year they are hoping to collect 600 toys and bring in donations of one thousand dollars.
He says in these tough times, the need has never been greater.
They toys will be distributed between December 22nd and December 24th.
Toys for all ages of children are welcome, but he says it’s often the 10 to 15 year old kids who get missed.
