Not only do you get a hot dog or hamburger, drink and bag of chips, but you are helping the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of Canada.
The CCFC is dedicated to raising funds for research into inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), a disease affecting over 170,000 Canadians.
This is the 20th annual M and M Meat’s Charity BBQ.
Stores across the region are holding BBQ’s from 10 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon.

Since its inception, Charity BBQ Day has helped to raise more than $14.5 million for research; this year’s goal is 2 million dollars.
