Board Chair Mark Kraemer says Lisa Milne was offered the position and has accepted.
Kraemer says Milne has been Westario’s Chief Financial Officer for three years and has been the acting General Manager since Guy Cluff officially retired in September.
Kraemer says many people applied for the job, both in and outside of the industry.
He says a short list was and final interviews were held a week a week ago Thursday and in the end, Milne was most qualified.
Milne’s first job will to replace her old position by hiring a CFO.
Kraemer says following that, she will sink her teeth right into the position, looking at ’09 budgets, and starting the strategic planning process.
Her official start day is today.
