Grey County O.P.P. are investigating after the body of a man was found in a Dundalk apartment yesterday afternoon just before 3 o clock.
The information initially provided to officers caused them to think there was someone armed with a gun in the immediate area.
That’s when they blocked the street and requested both public schools be placed in lock down.
The lockdown was lifted just before 6pm when investigators realized there was no threat to the public.
The cause and circumstances of the death are under investigation.
Meanwhile the area around the apartment has been cordoned off.
