A $75,000 donation is being made to Wounded Warriors Canada from Bruce Power’s supplier partners.
The donation will assist the organization’s efforts in supporting ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces members, as well as first responders and their families.
Wounded Warriors offers mental health services through education, counselling and training to support recovery from post-trauma injuries.
Bruce Power’s Division Manager of Emergency and Protective Services Jeff Steven says they are proud of their supplier partners for the ongoing support to Wounded Warriors Canada.
Wounded Warriors Director of Clinical Services Philip C. Ralph adds, “This ongoing partnership has been transformative, enabling Wounded Warriors Canada to move from a small foundation to a national mental health service provider dedicated to serving trauma exposed organizations, trauma exposed professionals, and their families. Today, Wounded Warriors Canada specializes in providing culturally informed services that utilize a combination of education, counselling and training approaches to support resiliency and recovery from post-trauma injuries.”
