Pastor Randy Kennedy says the issue was settled when the centre informed the court it was no longer being used to house homeless people and was in fact used by a single family.
The building in question is 931 4th avenue east and the Fire prevention officer, Tom Potter cited several requirements to upgrade the building if it was to be used as a boarding house.
Kennedy says the Victorious Living centre doesn’t actually own the house, which was at one time a grow-op house and simply is the landlord for an owner in the United Kingdom.
Pastor Kennedy says it seems every time they address concerns, new ones show up.
Late last month he received complaints about trees on the property.
He says the concerns will be addressed.
