South Bruce OPP were called to an apartment on Park Street in Ripley about 2:45 Friday morning to investigate a knifing.
Police were called about a man with a butcher knife in the hallway of the apartment building who was threatening to kill someone.
OPP say their investigation shows the suspect assaulted another male in an apartment there, using a knife and stating he was going to kill him.
The victim suffered a cut to his hand and had to be taken to the South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Kincardine.
Further investigation shows that the suspect had slashed the tires of the victims car as well.
Twenty-year-old Andrew Flynn faces several charges including Assault with a weapon, Uttering a Death Threat, and Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.
