The request for Hanover residents to limit their use of water has been lifted.
A major break in the town’s main water intake line last evening prompted officials to issue the bulletin until the repairs could be made.
As of 9:30 last night the town issued a press release saying the repairs had been made.
However residents are advised to check for discolouration by running the cold water tap to ensure its clear prior to using the sink, washing machine or dishwasher.
Mayor Kathi Maskell applauds the efforts of the work crews and emergency response agencies who resolved the situation so quickly and to the residents who co operated by limiting their water use
