The 4th quarterly meeting of the 100 Good Men ( Who Give A Damn ) was staged Tuesday night at the Best Western Inn on the Bay in Owen Sound.
The group, which now numbers close to 200 members, heard three presentations from charitable community organizations and after a group vote, a cheque of more than $ 19,000 was presented to the Grey Bruce Pregnancy Centre.
Leanne Hoekstra of the Grey Bruce Pregnancy Centre relates the cheque represents the largest donation the Centre has ever received and the money will be put to good use.
The 100 Good Men ( Who Give A Damn ) will celebrate their first year of operation at their next meeting in October
