Pat Campbell is leaving the corporation to take up a position as the first President and CEO of ECHO, the provinces first womens health agency.
The role of the new agency is to conduct, fund and partner on research initiatives in womens health.
Campbells resignation was announced to hospital staff today.
Campell says it with mixed emotions that she is leaving the Grey Bruce Health Service after seven years heading up the corporation.
She will be working part time with both organziations for November and December and takes up her new position full time Jaunary 3rd.
GBHS board chair Butch Grenon says the hunt is now on for a new CEO.
