Construction values are down for the month of September in Saugeen Shores.
Chief Building Official Jim Bell says though, year to date numbers are up a bit.
Bell says two point two million dollars in construction value was realized last month, as they issued fourteen building permits.
Last September 42 permits were issued, and five million dollars in construction value was realized.
He says the main difference is a drop in single family dwellings.
However, year to date numbers are solid; at the end of September this year 54.2 million dollars was realized.
Last year 48.5 million was done.
Bell says more multi residential homes this year makes up the extra six million.
He expects the pace to pick up throughout the remainder of the year too.
