The Grey Bruce region is under a heat warning, advising of dangerous levels of humidity beginning tomorrow afternoon.
Environment Canada says in the first significant heat event of the season, daytime highs will reach to 31 to 36 degrees, with a humidex of 40 to 45 degrees.
Overnight lows will range between 21 to 25 degrees.
The agency says the heat warning will be in effect from Sunday afternoon to Tuesday night.
“A cold front is expected to push though the region late Tuesday but there is some uncertainty with how far south this front will get. Should it remain farther north, the heart event may continue for Wednesday primarily for southwestern Ontario and the GTA,” says Environment Canada in a statement.
Environment Canada advises drinking water often and to watch for early signs of heat exhaustion, with signs ranging from headache, nausea, dizziness, thirst, dark urine, and intense fatigue.
