Collingwood singer and Canadian Idol finalist Drew Wrigt has a manager.
Kevin Kerrigan, who represents bands like Honeymoon Suite, will help Wright with his career once the Canadian Idol Top 3 Tour is over at the end of December.
Kerrigan says Wright has already been working hard in the studio and they’ve been negotiating a couple of record deals and endorsements.
Then Wright will tour Ontario with his own band.
Kerrigan tells us the singer’s popularity in our area can only help his career as people look forward to seeing what he can really do.
He says we can expect an edgy “in your face” rock sound from Wright.
Kerrigan adds the exposure on Canadian Idol will help Wright break into the Canadian market and then they’d like to try to tackle Europe before trying to beak into the very tough American market.
As for Drew’s house painting career, Kerrigan says that’s all over.
