The Owen Sound North Stars will open up their playoff series against Orangeville Northmen this weekend.
Game 1 in the best-of-five Ontario Junior B lacrosse first-round matchup is set to go Saturday, June 21 at 7 p.m. at Durham Community Centre.
The series then shifts to Orangeville’s Alder Street Rec Centre for Games 2-3.
The No. 8 seed North Stars (9-11) are the underdog in the series. They lost all three meetings with the Western Conference’s top team, Northmen (19-1) during the JrB lacrosse regular season.
