Three people have been charged with drug trafficking following South Bruce OPP receiving calls about a suspicious vehicle on Goldie Street in Arran-Elderslie.
Police found the vehicle on Bruce Road 1 outside of Paisley, and the investigating officer noticed illicit drugs in plain view. The people in the vehicle were searched and placed under arrest.
Police seized approximately 10 grams of suspected cocaine, 5 grams of suspected crack, and 16 grams of suspected fentanyl.
A 44-year-old man from New Brunswick, along with a 40-year-old woman from Hanover and a 16-year-old youth from Hanover are all charged with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking. The youth is also charged with failure to comply with undertaking.
