Saugeen Shores Police have charged a man for an alleged indecent act at a school in the town.
Police are announcing an arrest and charges now, but say the incident happened back on April 25.
According to police, a man approached a fenced area of a school yard and initiated conversation with students, before exposing himself and fleeing the area.
Saugeen Shores Police did not disclose which school the alleged incident occurred at.
Police say a detailed investigation began and a 27-year-old Saugeen Shores man was identified as the suspect. He was arrested and charged with three counts of sexual assault to a person under 16 years of age, three counts of indecent exposure to a person under 16 years of age and failing to comply with a probation order.
The accused, who has not been identified by police, was released with a future court date following a bail hearing.
“Due to a publication ban no further information will be released at this time,” Saugeen Shores Police say in a release.
