Mike Crone has left after 9 years on the job, taking up a new position at Bruce Power.
Mayor Ruth Lovell-Stanners says Crone will be missed.
Lovell-Stanners is hoping someone locally can be found to fill the job.
Crone’s job includes responsiblity for the waste water treatment plants, the plarks and snow removal in Owen Sound.
Crone’s last day on the job was Friday, Oct. 10th.
Mayor Lovell-Stanners is working with City Manager Jim Harrold and the director of Operations John Johnston on filling the post.
