Chair Alice McLaren says they hope to have contact details by the end of October, from anyone who has an interest in special needs transportation.
The need for the service may not be limited to those physically disabled.
McLaren says anyone who can’t afford their own transporation, or who face barriers, such as age, and anyone who may use the service in the future should contact them too.
McLaren says once the data is compiled into the form of a database, they will look at what the needs are specific to Saugeen Shores.
Contact the town and leave your information via the phone, on its website at www.saugeenshores.ca or email saugeenshorestransportation@gmail.org.
McLaren says it is too soon to tell when the service will be up and running, or to discuss costs association with the project.
