Brockton Councillors will soon by trying to find an answer to a potential 200 to 300 thousand dollar question.
What they are going to with aging roof on the Walkerton Community Centre.
Brockton’s Recreation Director Dan Wilkin says the roof is almost 25 years old and is begriming to show signs of deteriorate and has surpassed its life expectancy.
He says it is beginning to leak once again.
He says the roof already has been fixed once and Council will have to determine if it should be replaced, patched up or perhaps look at the possibility of replacing the entire community centre building.
Wilkin says that is something council will have to consider during their capital budget deliberations in the future.
He says the structural integrity of both the building and roof are not in question.
Council will have to decide whether its cheaper in the long run to replace the structure, rather than keep spending money repairing the building.
