It was a successful Harry Bierman’s Community Classic walk in Chesley.
Committee Chair, Bud Halpin says Sunday’s event raised a record amount of 20 thousand 400 dollars.
Halpin says the money will go towards purchasing a video laryngoscope for the Chesley hospital.
It can be used in diagnostics when someone needs to be intebated, or during emergency throat scopes, offering health professionals a birds eye view of the throat.
Halpin says about 120 people were registered for the event, but 150 people actually came out and participated.
He says its great to see so much community support for the hospital.
Halpin says next year is the 20th anniversary of the event, and he is looking forward to bigger and better things.
