A Port Elgin man with a brain tumour is taking part in the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada Spring Sprint in London.
It’s a fundraising walk for the organization.
The foundation goal is $72,500; 58 percent of that has been reached.
Jim Little has had his tumour for ten years, and is doing well; because of that, he wants to give back to the foundation.
Little originally set out to take part in the walk and raise $10,000.
He has already surpassed that, and is headed towards $14,000.
Little is impressed with the generosity of the community, and is pleased to be able to help the foundation.
Little and his son Derek are taking part in the Spring Sprint today in London at Fanshawe Park.
The Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada offers support to families with brain tumours, both adult and pediatric.
Little will update us on the run and his total on Sounding Board tomorrow morning after the 10 A.M. news.
