Grey Bruce OPP say they have laid impaired driving charges in connection to a serious two-vehicle collision.
Police say, on Friday, May 5th at 5:18 p.m., they responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision along Highway 6 in Georgian Bluffs Township.
Officers responded to the scene with members of the Inter Township Fire Department and Grey County EMS.
According to OPP, one of the involved drivers displayed signs of impairment.
A 43 year old Saugeen Shores man was charged with Operation Causing Bodily Harm and Operate over 80 milligrams. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on June 22, 2023, to answer to the charges.
The other involved driver was airlifted to a London hospital for treatment of serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) unit attended to assist the Grey Bruce OPP with the traffic investigation.
Highway 6 was closed around the incident location for the protection of emergency responders.
