- All Bluewater District School Board elementary and secondary schools will be closed to students and staff, Friday, December 23. Student transportation services will also not be running. Secondary schools will switch to online learning on Friday. Elementary students may wish to visit TVO Learn at https://tvolearn.com/ for learning activities. All community use of schools/facilities is also cancelled for today.
- The Bruce Grey Catholic DSB will be closed to students and staff. All Board Sites will be closed on Friday, December 23, 2022 due to inclement weather.
- Grey Transit Route service has been suspended for the remainder of the day due to weather conditions affecting the region, and forecast conditions to come. Service is scheduled to resume on Saturday, December 24th weather pending.
- Guelph Owen Sound Transportation (GOST) and Mobility Transit cancelled Saturday, December 24th and Sunday, December 25th.
- The Grey Bruce Public Health building in Owen Sound is closing on December 23 at noon. On-call service will be available, as usual, 24/7.

- Both sites for Bruce Grey Child and Family Services will be closed to the public and all drives and visits cancelled
- The Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library is closed Friday, December 23rd. It will re-open Wednesday, December 28th, 10 am – 8 pm (after the holidays).
- Happy Hearts Daycare is closed due to weather conditions
- Le Jardin des Découvertes Childcare Centre will be closed on Friday, December 23 due to the winter storm.
- The Conseil Scolaire Catholique Providence has closed École Catholique Saint-Dominique-Savio for Friday December 23rd 2022.
- The Bruce County Administration Centre in Walkerton, the Lakeshore Hub in Port Elgin, the Peninsula Hub in Wiarton, and the Penetangore Hub in Kincardine are closed on Friday, December 23. Virtual customer service will be available.

- Meaford United Church is cancelling both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day worship services ahead of the impending weather event expected.
- All three ReStores will be closed on December 23rd due to the upcoming blizzard. They will reopen on Tuesday, December 27th. The locations include Springmount, Hanover, and Port Elgin.

Due to the storm, the following cancellations will be in effect Friday, December 23, 2022: Cardboard collection in the Municipality of Kincardine, Ward 1; Recycling collection in the Municipality of South Bruce, Town of Mildmay. Please note that missed recycling should be bagged and placed beside your blue box on your next scheduled collection day. Missed cardboard will be collected on the next scheduled collection day.
- The Arran-Elderslie has declared a Significant Weather Event that will remain in effect until further notice. The Arran-Elderslie Administration office in Chesley is closed for Friday, December 23rd. Garbage pickup has also been cancelled for today. All municipal arenas will be closed at 2:00 p.m. today.
- City of Owen Sound offices, including City Hall, will be closed at noon on Friday, December 23, due to the winter storm forecast to heavily impact our region. In-person services will not be available, but many services can continue to be accessed remotely by visiting www.OwenSound.ca. City Hall and facilities will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
