Even though mail delivery has resumed — Ontario Works cheques in Bruce County are NOT being mailed out.
Instead, Bruce County residents are being asked to pick up their cheques on Thursday afternoon between 1 PM and 4 PM at your nearest office.
If you can not pick up your cheques — you can call the Social Services office in Walkerton for other arrangements.
The pickup locations for cheques are at….
– The Resource Centre on Queen Street in Kincardine for residents of Kincardine and the former Huron Township.
– The Resource Centre in the Children’s Aid Society Building on Berford Street in Wiarton for residents of Northern Bruce Peninsula and South Bruce Peninsula.
– The Resource Centre on Mill Street in Port Elgin for residents of Saugeen Shores and the former Arran Township.
– The Bruce County Administration Building, Social Services office in Walkerton for residents of Brockton, South Bruce, Paisley, Chesley and the former Elderslie and Kinloss townships.
