Winners announced for the Crystal Meth Logo & Poster Contest
GREY-BRUCE – JUNE 24, 2011 – The winners of the Crystal Meth Logo and Poster Contest have been announced by the Grey Bruce Crystal Meth Committee. A challenge was put out to high school art students in Grey and Bruce counties, to design a suitable logo and poster for use by the Grey Bruce Crystal Meth Committee. The contest was created by the Education Task Force, part of the Crystal Meth Committee.
The winner of the Logo contest was Beining Ma from Saugeen District Secondary School. The prize for the colourful logo was a $300 gift certificate.
The Poster winner was Jordan Borges from St. Mary’s High School. Jordan also received a $300 gift certificate.
The Art Departments at both schools also received $300 gift certificates for promoting the contest.
The Grey-Bruce Crystal Meth Committee was created to address a growing problem with the use of methamphetamines in the counties.
