Police are reminding you to keep your vehicles safe.
South Bruce OPP and officers with the Ministry of Transportation conducted vehicle safety inspections in Kincardine and Walkerton last week.
79 vehicles were inspected — and Police report licence plates were removed from 25 vehicles.
Another 40 people received notices to repair their vehicles.
Police also issued almost 20 notices for other traffic offences — from suspended drivers to a person who was using a cellphone while driving.
Police say it’s the law for drivers to operate a properly maintained and safe vehicle.
