Get ready for a day of family fun in the Scenic City…
The Keystone Child Youth and Family Services is holding its 8th annual Family Fun Festival today at Kelso Beach Park in Owen Sound, rain or shine.
The free event features lots of activities for kids and parents alike, including exotic pet shows, and circus performances including workshops.
Officers with Owen Sound Police will be on hand to measure the speed of kids soccer kicks with their radar guns, and they will have their interactive safety village on display.
A group of military personnel from the Land Force Central Area Training Centre in Meaford will be there to showcase military vehicles and run an obstacle course.
The Family Fun Festival also coincides with the grand opening of the new splash pad at Kelso Beach, put in place by the Scenic City Order of Good Cheer.
There will also be pony rides, bouncy castles, hip hop dance classes, mini-golf, batting cages, crafts and lots more.
The Family Fun Festival runs from 11 AM until 3 PM today at Kelso Beach Park in Owen Sound.
