Hallmark is back in business in Owen Sound.
The store unexpectedly closed May 6th after the corporation claimed the franchise holder, Coates and Best, defaulted on their agreement at another store.
According to Hallmark Canada, Coates and Best had six franchise operations and simply shut down two of them without notice.
Now, the local Hallmark store is open under the Corporate banner and the new Manager is Lisa Metcalfe.
She says there is a mix of old and new staff in the store at Heritage Place Shopping centre.
Metcalfe says there is a lot of new product in the store, which is in the same location as the old store.
Hallmark opened at about 2 PM Tuesday and is now fully open to the public again.
