The Ann Milne School of Dance is helping out another local charity.
Ann Milne says they recognize a lot of local organizations need help, but she says the Dancing for Life events were taking a lot of time to put together.
So she says they’re doing something different this year.
A free dance show will be put on at Kelso Beach in Owen Sound today with dancers as young as 2 and 3 years old and ranging into their teens.
Milne says they will raise money for Habitat for Humanity by selling raffle tickets for an autographed Karen Kain portrait.
Milne says it’ll be a day of great performances, and they have some special guests as well.
The Penatangore Pipe Band will come from Kincardine, Geoff Stevens will perform and 7 year old vocalist Emma Wright will sing.
The event takes place at Kelso Beach in Owen Sound beginning at 2 PM.
