This is a big weekend for the Cops for Cancer campaign in Grey Bruce.
There are several events taking place this weekend — including three shave offs today at the Owen Sound hospital, at West Hill Secondary School and in Markdale.
The big Owen Sound shave off takes place at 10 AM Saturday at Boston Pizza — when Bayshore Broadcasting’s Dan McLean and dozens of other people lose their hair.
There is also a parade and shave off in Meaford on Sunday.
To date — more than 52 thousand dollars has been pledged in the Cops for Cancer campaign.
The goal of the Grey Bruce chapter is to raise 185 thousand dollars for cancer research and to support families who are dealing with cancer.
