The Bluewater public school board will make a decision next week about the future of its four elementary tech centres in Grey Bruce.
But there is some concern about tech programs in Hanover.

Hanover ARC representative Dave Hocking believes it’s an issue worth fighting for.
Hocking feels it’s important if a new school if built in Hanover — that it has ample space to house all of the current technology programs.
Almost 30 per cent of JDSS students are enrolled in technology education — from construction to automotive and computer studies.
Hocking notes the programs are important since there is a high skills labour shortage in Grey Bruce.
The Bluewater budget sub-committee has recommended about three million dollars in cutbacks for the next school year.
They include cuts to staff training and the transportation, continuing education and plant services budget lines.
A meeting is being held next Monday about the future of the four tech centres and two alternative learning centres.
