Kincardine Council got a Development Charges 101 lesson from Hemson Consulting.
They learned on Wednesday that many surrounding communities have development charges and still manage to grow.
It was suggested the same could happen to Kincardine.

A public meeting on whether or not development charges should be a part of Kincardine’s make-up will be held June 15th.
