Nominations are now closed for the Green Party nomination in Bruce Grey Owen Sound.
Two people want to run for the MPP position under the Green banner this fall — Owen Sound resident Shane Jolley and West Grey Councillor Don Marshall.
Jolley was previously the deputy leader for the Green Party of Ontario.
He also had the best finish of any Green Party candidate in a Canadian federal or provincial election back in 2007.
With more than 33 per cent of the vote, Jolley finished second to outgoing Conservative MPP Bill Murdoch.
The Green Party nomination convention for Bruce Grey Owen Sound is set for June 1st.
