Bruce Power is looking for a new Vice President of Corporate Affairs.
Murray Elston has resigned, effective last Friday.
Elston was just two years into the job as Vice-President of Corporate affairs at the nuclear operator.
The former Liberal MPP and Ontario health minister in the 1980’s tells Bayshore Broadcasting News he is interested in helping rebuild the Federal Liberal party, which was descimated in the recent election.
Elston says he is not interested in running for the leadership of the party, claiming it is a young mans game and he already tried that before.
He also claims no one approached him from the Federal Liberals asking for help, it is something he wants to do.
Murray Elston says the party needs to take time to do an internal review and not jump to any conclusions, or look for a quick fix.
As far as why he left Bruce Power, and whether he gave any notice, Elston says that information will remain between him and the company.
